It all started when…
I started going to the occasional yoga class in 2005 as a complementary form of exercise and stretching to balance out the physical demands of competitive sports (taekwondo, football, ice hockey). After being sidelined by an injury several years ago, I turned to yoga as a primary form of exercise. I dabbled in different styles and found that I enjoyed faster-paced, physically demanding, flow classes. In the summer of 2016 I took a yoga teacher training at Power Yoga Canada to broaden my knowledge of yoga and to learn about myself. This was one of the best decisions that I have ever made! Yoga has truly been a reprieve from the everyday stresses of life and it has opened my eyes to what is possible. I am truly honored to share what I have learned throughout my journey with my students.

Is it all about winning or losing or how you play the game? It is not about winning or losing. It is about how you choose to play the game. Every day will bring new challenges and how you react to those obstacles and overcome them is the true reflection of your achievement.
Where did you go to school? In the proverbial “attic”. I am born and raised Canadian.
